My name is Chris Bradshaw, owner of SheaMarie Designs.  I began my love of sewing in my teens, received my BA in Textiles and Clothing from Colorado State University. My first position out of college was as a patternmaker in the ski industry.   I now run my own business from my home studio in Colorado.  I’m a designer, patternmaker and seamstress specializing in wedding wear, simply because I love being a part of making a bride’s dreams come true!

My all time favorite project is making custom wedding gowns! The first gown I designed and created was my own back in 1983. I’ve made gowns every decade since then, and every one has been my absolute honor. I’ve also created veils, garter sets, ringbearer pillows, flower girl dresses and baskets.

Many people have asked where the name of my business came from. It’s actually my daughter’s middle name (Shea) and mine (Marie). I thought they blended well together.

When I’m not sewing, I love to travel…I’m a photographer, a crafter/DIYer, I love to read, bake/cook….I’m a “right brainer” through and through.
